Rules of Boarding

Rules and Regulations for Boarding at our Pet Resort
  • We have the right to deny admittance of any pet without the proper proof of vaccinations.
  • Please do not allow your pet to run off leash on our facility property.
  • Comfortable bedding will be provided by CAI at time of check-in if not provided by the pets owner.  The only time we will not supply bedding is if your pet will continually shred or chew it.
  • CAI will not be responsible for lost or damaged items brought for your pet.
  • Check-in is required between our operating hours on your check-in date. Please allow up to 15 minutes to fill out boarding paperwork. We DO NOT allow check-ins after hours.
  • Check out is between 7:30 am and 10:00 am Monday-Saturday. Pets that are checked out after 10:00 am will be charged a $10 Daycare fee per pet or $15 for pets sharing a kennel. Check-outs will not be permitted after hours. Pets that do not check out before 10:00 am may be downgraded if they are preventing the next check-in from using that kennel.
  • Sunday night check-outs are charged for that night as a convenience fee. Check-ins and check-outs are available during our Sunday hours from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
  • Any dog who excessively damages CAI property will be down-graded to another accommodation. Owners will be held liable for costs to repair the damage.
  • Aggressive dogs will be required to board in our indoor/outdoor runs where they can be cared for without coming into contact with our staff. If dogs become aggressive or dangerous during their stay they will be down-graded to keep our staff safe.
  • Payment of your bill is due when you pick up your pet(s) so we can ensure every item and extra service is charged correctly for the duration of your pet’s stay. However, we may allow owners to pre-pay if a family member will be picking up their pet. Any services not used during the reservation can be refunded at pick up.
  • Unauthorized persons will not be allowed to pick up boarded pets. If a friend or family member is going to be picking up your pet, please give us his or her name upon check-in.
  • Our skilled staff can administer your pet’s medication as prescribed for a $3.00 per day med fee. Unfortunately we will not board pets who require insulin, have sutures or have recently had surgery, and pets who must wear diapers or have their bladders manually expressed.
